Exactly. If you've seen Floyd's skill level, yesterday's fight in comparison was minor league quality. And Cotto STILL got destroyed.

Floyd shuts out Margarito just like he shut out Baldomir, and he knocks Cotto out early.

I defenitely agree as Mayweather is accostumed to being a track runner for 12 rounds in the ring. He has the capability of being more effective than Margarito as speed, technique & overall ring generalship will go to his favor... not to mention defense. Tony's ability to break down fighters comes from the accumulation of punches he exerts. Floyd will never give him the luxury of landing 200+ punches on him... its a no brainer, Mayweather on points.

enough of this mayweather worship. If Mayweather was as confident as you are about the outcome, he would have faced him.. but he didnt. Everyone can speculate about the outcome but we'll never know for certain because Mayweather ducked his ass and you dont get credit over someone by ducking them. When we talk about Mayweather, we have to talk in the past tense because his ass is retired now and lying in a hammock. This is Margaritos time, he's the man now.

Floyd turned down the fight for a bus load of cash so obviously he didn't even agree your dumb ass theory.

So tell me this..25 mill to fight hatton or 8 mill to fight margarito. If you say margarito you are a complete dumbass.

                repost

If you think Cotto speed, accuracy, and defensive foot were exceptional.

Just Imagine Mayweather would have done to Margarito.

                Mayweather 20x faster than Cotto
Mayweather 50x more accurate than Cotto
Mayweather 1000x better defensive foot work better than Cotto.

This is the point some people dont get when looking at Mayweather.
The only way for Floyd to be consider to be a in FAIR FIGHT.

is a fight in where he is at a huge disadvantage in some area.

                Think about that.?

NAME 5 OTHER FIGHTERS IN HISTORY THAT HAD THAT
                PERCEPTION..!!!!

Why is that Floyd mayweather can not be in a fight where he is not at a huge disadvantage. in order for it to be a fair fight.

But nobody says anything where every other fighter does it.

That perception right there...tells you how great he is...
The Perception is, Floyd has to fight at a disadvantage for it to be a fair fight.!

AND THE ONE TIME MIGUEL COTTO HAD TO FIGHT AT A DISADVANTAGE...
                HE COULD NOT HANDLE IT.!!!

THATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GREAT FIGHTERS, and GOOD FIGHTERS..
Thats the differences Between Legends and non legends
THATS THE DIFFERENCE between Mayweather and Cotto.

I hate people who write bull**** threads like this.

Yeah Floyd probably decisions Tony but we'll never ****ing know because Floyd doesnt have the bollox to step in the ring with him. Its all opinion until the fight actually happens.

Personally I dont think it would be anywhere as easy as Baldomir. Baldomir was much slower and much more limited than Margarito.

Tony would try to do what Hatton attempted except Margarito's chin is granite at 147 whereas Hatton was stopped in his tracks by Mayweather's punches. Tony could run in, eat a right hand and still come back smiling. Cotto threw crisp 2,3,4 punch combos and still got tracked down. Floyd potshotting isnt gonna deter Tony. His punch output is also a key factor, he throws well over 1000 a fight without getting tired.

I still lean towards Mayweather by decision but who gives a **** cos we'll never see it.

this thread was created in response to the fools who are high on **** after margaritos win. I have seen several comments on floyd not being able to handle margarito and after watching margarito fight with those slow ass punches no way is he seeing floyd. Too much technique, skill and ring savy from PBF.
