    Attention Margarito fans

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there was any point at which you guys were worried during the fight?

Rounds 1-6 i was biting my nails i wont lie but after Margarito hurt him the 1st time. I knew Margarito was gonna stop him. Even if it went 12 he would win, he was winning on 2 cards and a draw on the other at the stoppage

Yeah, I was worried from the 1st to the 6th round. Cotto was beating Margarito up..

We know the rest though, so I'm happy.

Yeah its just I was watching the fight with my brother and we thought a couple of rounds in that he just wasn't going to be able to catch him regularly enough. I think we both underestimated the effect that his solid shots can have. After he tagged and staggered him for the first time I thought it was pretty obvious how it was going to go but yeah, after 2 or 3 I couldn't see Margarito winning.

I was never worried, I just didn't want it to go to the cards because it could have gone in Cotto's favor, after the 6th though I knew Tony had this fight and was going to eventually score a KO, I predicted this fight to end in the 9th or 10th round long before the fight was announced.

Sure, in the early rounds it seemed possible that Cotto's hand and foot speed might be too much, especially if it went the distance. But I suspected he would slow down at some point and have to engage. When that happened Margarito stepped up and got the job done.

Were you surprised at how much he slowed? Do you think it was a stamina issue or just Margarito's heavy hands. HE just became so much more hittable throughout the fight. That was the one thing that surprised me about the fight. I just didn't expect Margarito to be able to land so frequently on him.
