I love Williams, but I think Marg takes the rematch, now that he's started to get off to faster starts. I think they both got better since the first fight, so it should be a real exciting fight.

hey ms. piggy, shut the **** up! if paul was so badly fading at the end of the fight why did he win the 12th round as easy as he won the first. yall get all excited over that 2 round hurrican marg unleashed on paul. it was just two rounds. Marg won 3 rounds on my car, but if you deny Paul won the 12th easily then you have laten ****sexual tendencies and you didint watch the fight. Dont play yourself, foolio.

No on to everybody else, I dont want to hear no more Puerto Ricans talking **** about Paul anymore. Your boy got his ass kicked and got his heart took from him. Cotto's heart is in question now. I think even Cotto was surprised he didnt have what it took to win that fight. Nobody answered more questions about Cotto than Margarito did. And yall think Cotto gonna beat a Williams that dwarfed Margarito. Your boys' stock plummeted until he can win a few more fights.

Now on to Margarito. He is a damn good fighter, but Paul will beat him again. Marg showed he is the still the same ol Marg. He beat Cotto by being the Tijuana Tornado so a rematch with Williams plays out the same way. I cant wait for all the Cotto fans to jump on the Tony bandwagon when Williams-Margarito 2 happens. See yall then.

Has he ever spoken about it???
i know for a fact that collazo agreed to fight pw and hbo gave an offer. unfortunatley the williams camp AND the collazo camp saw that it was not worth it to either fighter to do it for bread crumbs, which is basically what the offer was for. everyone knows the risk of fighting paul, and though most cats on the board underestimate collazo, paul knows the risk of fighting him cause lou was his sparring for quintana ii!

Kinda neat though, you lumping in Margarito with the greats of boxing at welterweight in their primes.

Look Margs is good. Nobody, at least not me, said he was on that level.
yea, margs isnt on that level boxing-wise, but his terminator-like chin enables him to stay in with anybody for the whole fight at 147. if anyone had stamina issues or chin problems, margarito would have 12 (or 15 in the old days) rounds to get to someone and break em down!

I feel Paul beats Margarito again probably by split decision. Margarito definently has a chance though. Paul isn't hitting him with nothing big. I wonder if Paul will try to sit down on his punches and put more power behind them. He can't slug with Margarito though.

They fought only one year ago and if anyone seems to have improved visibly, it's Williams. I think next time around Williams might have a better chance to KO Margarito. Margarito stopped Cotto but it doesn't mean his chances are any better against Williams.

Williams looked like ass in the first Quintana fight. Like complete ass.
He blew him out in one round the second time. How can you tell if he's improved or he just went for it quickly the second time and got it done?

I know lots of fighters that look sparkling in 1 round blowouts but show their flaws when they are in there with someone that won't go away.

PWill got a great shot off in the second fight, it wasn't like he was showing amazing skill. He got some great shots off quick.

With Margs, you know Margs will be there and isn't caving in 1.
The question is, does WILLIAMS fight Marg like he did the first time, or have that lazy impotent jab he had against Quintana the first time.

I'd love for this fight to happen.

In the first Quintana fight Williams did look like garbage, but that was basically compared to what we knew he was capable of, which he went on to demonstrate in the rematch. Not to say I wouldn't want to see a Margarito rematch, but they only fought last July 2007 so the result would probably be the same. Margarito always has a punchers chance though so either way it'd be a good fight. He might start faster but Williams would be aware of that now and probably make the adjustment. We'll see.. I guess it's got to happen sooner or later..
