Paul the Punisher Williams is the Man now

With Floyd's retirement & Margarito's destruction of the previously undefeated 2 division champ Miguel Cotto last night the WW picture is clear to me. Paul Williams is the Man. Williams already went to Margarito's backyard & slapped him up. He only has 1 decision loss in 35 fights & avenged that with a 1st rd KO while reclaiming his WW title.

To all my brothers on boxingscene it will be interesting to see how the haters start on Paul Williams. LOL

A lotta people have been sayin this but it's only a half-truth. Cotto became #1 at WW when PBF walked. Tony beat him so now he's #1, but Williams beat him so he needs to validate his dominance over 147 by rematchin Williams. Paul beat Tony before he became the top WW. He's gotta do it again to be the man.

OK so Cotto became number 1 because some writers said so? He beat him but he loss to him so he needs to beat him because he beat him 1st but didnt beat him 2nd. HUH? I agree with you on 1 thing. Margarito has to validate himself by beating Paul Williams not the other way around so that means Paul Williams is the Man.

Not takin no for an answer huh? Tony-Williams 2 determines who runs **** at WW. Until it happens, Tony still has a better claim to that spot that Williams does. Why? When Paul beat Tony, Tony was not the #1 ranked WW. When Tony beat Cotto, Cotto was the #1 ranked WW. It ain't that hard to understand homey.

This is why there shouldn't be so many damn belts in each weightclass. I have Paul Williams number 1 at 147.

                I'd like to see Paul Williams-Margarito 2.
Just hope that Williams doesn't fight like he did in the first Quintana fight.
He went from Rock Star against Margs the first time, to subpar against Quintana the first time. It's like he forgot all his skills and potent jab in less than a year.

It would be an interesting fight and a close exciting one that should be made.
I sincerely hope both come at their best and give us a show.

IMO, Paul Williams right now is definitely the number 1 guy at WelterWeight.
