To all the haters and people who didn't believe- I'm not going to point you out, you know who you are. In the words of when the NY Giants upset the NE Patriots. " Cotto you and your fans GOT STOMPED OUT !!!!! Arriba Margarito!! The Tijuana Tornado!!!!

GTFOH....Props to Margo and his fans!! Great fight and congratulations but dont get it twisted Cotto was Boxing Margo's ears off til he ran outta gas.Props to Margo for capitalizing on that and not letting Cotto off the hook.Cotto needs to work more on his stamina.Had he went more to his midsection instead of headhunting MARGO and worked on his stamina more in training he would of won .But he didnt bottom line so no escuses but no disrespect to Margo but he was getting waxed and he didnt look all that good either.PWilliams/Margo 2 will happen and PWilliams will win again.Cotto WILL be back after a long layoff ,come back stronger and more intelligent than ever and become a world champuion by early next year and possibly get his revenge against that TJ tornado.But for now i will have to eat "crow"!

why are so many people not paying attention to margaritos defense he tucks his elbows in real tight to his lower body so if cotto went for the body attack he would most likely hit all elbow which could of caused him to break his hands if he tried so tony basically baited him to go to the head and his iron chin

Because Tony is barely above bum status to these cats. Dude has underrated defense if anything. From the way he picked off so many of Williams shots to how he prevented Cotto from throwing body shots.

Right before the fight I was talking to a buddy of mine and I said this kind of reminds me of Corrales / Frietas. The power punching Frietas was going to pick his spots but try to outbox Corrales and Corrales was just going to keep going forward like he always does. I said the only difference is that Cotto has better boxing skill than Freitas. The fight played out somewhat the same. I think that Cotto along with Frietas wasted a lot of energy on the Bike. I also believe when you give in to figting on the bike it wears on you when your plan is not slowing the other guy down. Basically I think Cotto would have been better served standing in the pocket. All that movement and Margarito keep coming forward has to wear on you both physically and mentally. fighting in a retreat mode would just seem to be mentally taxing.

like i said b4 arum needs to let these guys defend and enjoy their titles and see how things work-out, if they can both beat pretty much everyone, when you face em' it would be a big event;
williams should def. fight cotto next after cotto takes a tune-up fight
