This Cotto depreciation crap is ridiculous...

You fools that are saying that Cotto gave up should be shot or punched in the face. Im sure that those of you who are claiming this have never stepped into the ring. The man deserves respect. He fought like a man. He was outclassing Margarito, until Margarito's relentless pressure and Cotto's fading stamina changed the outcome. Its amazing that you fools cannot recognize heart, and a responsible corner. You *******s turn a GREAT fight into "he quit", "he was overrated" or "he is ruined"... WTF??

Step into the squared circle and fight sometime, it might give you a more realistic appreciation for the sport.

I'm a Cotto fan and respect and appreciate what he does.

Doesn't mean he can't quit though.

Margarito took alot of shots from Cotto as well. The only incredibly one sided rounds were round 7 and round 11. The fight was in no way a blow out.

These fools never fought a fight in their life and yet they are acting like they are the ultimate authority on fighting and courage.

He didn't quit...he just had nothing left. He slipped down on the second knockdown with no legs. Two weeks after Oscar Diaz, calling that a quit is f'ing ******.

                  ................

Some times your up sometimes your down.......

                  happens to all boxers........

its how you rebound that counts i mean even Ali considered the greatest by most lost.......

                  great fight by both fighters........

and remember sometimes your up and sometimes your down as shown by the video below.......

When you take a knee because you don't WANT to get hit - not because you WERE hit - what is that called?
