All kidding aside.... Margarito vs Pavlik @ 160

I have MUCH respect for Tony after last night hes way tougher than I even thought he was, but Pavlik is a beast he backed down Miranda like he was a girl scout. Margarito would get knocked unconscious, he has a great chin at 147 but I would say at 160 it would be less than either Taylors or Mirandas. Pavlik 4rd beheading.

It would be an interesting fight just to see how much punishment Margarito could take. It would be like fighting Paul Williams expect Kelly has way more power. Plus at 154 Margarito wasn't as effective at 160 Kelly I think would beat him up badly. Margarito chin could carry him late into the fight and maybe the whole way, but I don't think he could win.

I think you are wrong here... I mean Pavlik would def beat Williams, but Williams would NOT be trying to pressure Pavlik. That is the ONLY way Margarito knows how to fight, and he would get hurt IMO. Williams on the other hand MIGHT be able to make it 12 rounds, but I doubt that he could pull off that upset. We don't really know how he would look at 160, because of his height. He might be better than you think...

I think Kelly would stop Margarito, I don't think Margarito would get past the 6th. I don't think Margarito would have the power to hurt Kelly, to be effective. Kelly would simply be to big, plus has outstanding 1 punch power.

Easy fight for Pavlik. Jermain Taylor went the distance in the second fight because he has a great jab and boxing skills, neither of which Margarito has. Margarito's best defense is blocking punches with his face in hopes that the other guy slows down enough that he can catch him. No way Margarito could take clean punches like he did against Cotto if Pavlik was throwing them.

Sorry I should have said that if Margarito were to fight Margarito. Kelly would be like fighting Paul Williams because he is almost as tall and throw quite a bit of punches. Marg had trouble with Williams length, I could only imagine that he would have the same trouble with Pavlik. Not to mention that Pavlik has more power than P Will.

Daniel Santos made Margarito do the chicken dance at 154, at 160 Pavlik KOs home easily in my opinion.
