Hagler isn't a complete fighter, he doesn't have defense. Hagler was durable but that doesn't count as defense. Mosely doesn't have defense and can't throw a good jab. Complete would be Joan Guzman. SRL sorta but I wouldn't add him to the list. A prime James Toney is complete.

I think Floyd Mayweather Jr is the best pure boxer ever pound for pound. How do you prepare for him? Sparing partners cannot truly mimic his style or ability.

Mayweather is simply amazing. Now that he has moved up in weight, a couple of fighters have been able to hit him with literally 1 to 3 clean shots per fight, as they get tagged at will.

I seen Demarcus Corley hit him with a clean, hard right. It didn't faze him. I seen Zab Judah nock him silly, in the first round. He went on to dominate. I seen a physically bigger Oscar hit him with a few hard left hooks. It done nothing. I seen Emanuel Burton give him his first bloody nose/mouth. It had no effect on him. I seen Castillo hit him clean. It done nothing. His chin has withstood some clean, hard punches.

I seen the late Diego Corrales not land a punch. I seen him beat the brakes off of Hernandez, for his first title. I seen him humiliated Baldamir because he couldn't knock him out. I seen the "Human Highlight Film" Arturo Gatti become a highlight in his home town---not landing anything against Mayweather. I seen Floyd adjust to Zabs southpaw style and supreme hand speed and dominate the fight. I seen Floyd go up to 154 and outpoint De La Hoya, with his gloves, at his weight, on his fightcard.

Damn! At this day and age of boxing, he is not going to be able to fight any of the big names of the past. So get over it. He just keeps beating champion after champion, even if he is undersized or outpowered. He is a real boxer. Real boxers find ways to win.

His boxing style has reshaped the amateurs and young pros that are fighting. As the young fighters get more exposure, you'll see that Floyd transcended the boxing game.

The name of the sport is boxing! Not fighting! and Floyd is the greatest boxer this sport has seen! Put your ego to the side and face the truth.
