Vargas took his beating like a man, but consequently he was destroyed forever.

at what point was Judah running away while looking at his corner?

Cotto looked at his corner as the trainer came up on the apron. It draws your attention. Same as Meldrick Taylor in the twelfth against Chavez. Neither man quit.

Against Cotto Judah turned his back to let the ref know he was done.

Diaz went out like a warrior and he is still in a coma. Internet warriors crack me up. Cotto has a woman and kids, why should he risk his life to please people on the internet?

Vargas was never the same after that fight.

Did Cotto really need to go the distance when he had blood in his nose and couldn't breathe?
Was taking a beating like a "man" worth the rest of his career?
            No.

Cotto is still one of the elites in the welterweights and will come back a better and more experienced fighter in 2009 who will be hungrier now having that chip on his shoulder again.

Look, I give Margs all the credit in the planet, he's a great fighter.
But you have to be completely ignorant to think Cotto isn't a Warrior.

Cotto is one of the few guys who would sacrafice his undefeated record and belt to go in a ring with Margarito...others like Floyd Boy pussed out and didn't want apart of the giant Welterweight.

Cotto traded shots and planted his feet toe to toe with Margarito on a numerous ammount of occasions.

Anyway, Cotto is still a tough stone cold son of a *****, not even Chuck Norris could defend himself in the position Cotto was in.

is that why he took a knee TWICE and nodded yes to his corner right before the fight was stopped?

                HOLY ****!
What a ****ing right hand at the end of the round.

Freitas was in trouble fairly early in the round and fought on. I wonder where that kind of heart he had went.

Yeahhh..Popo used to be the ****. But personal problems (and Diego Corrales' right hand) robbed him of his heart.

His corner had already stopped the fight. Cotto didnt quit, he was still throwing combinations while he was hurt.

You idiots are sick and ******.... I'd bet that all of you saying he quit have never even been in the ring.

Cotto gave up because he gassed himself past the point of no return and ate a lot of leather. His corner made it official.

I give him credit for not quitting on his stool in between rounds soon after his nose was broken and his lips got busted.

                      The end result was inevitable.
