Lampley clearly biased

What was up with Jim Lampley? He practically called the fight as if Cotto was dominating the entire time and then he almost broke down at the end of the fight after Cotto lost. How biased can you get?

With that said, I do agree with you that Lampley was very biased.

For the most part he was looking at who's head was snapping back.

I thought Cotto was winning the fight and although we are talking subjectively they stats seem to back that up.

i dont know about him (i really didnt pay attention after the fight was over) but i was pretty choked up to see his kids crying...its an ugly sight in boxing...i was really thrilled by seeing such a good fight but when i seen the wife/girlfriend (whatever she is to him) and his kid crying it really ruined the night for me.

i dont think they should allow kids to watch when their father is the one fighting...

i dont know if lamply was being biased...i didnt really pay attention to be honest...sure it wasnt anything about the kids?

i felt sad too when hatton's wife was crying when he lost to mayweather...its an ugly sight.

Yeah. The hooks and uppercuts he was catching Margarito with were craaaaazy.
I forget which round it was, but Cotto caught him with a huge combo and slipped away. How did Margarito respond? He literally jogged right back to Cotto.
That's when I was like, "wtf!!!?"

yea i made this thread about this yesterday. it was almost as bad as the tayor/wright fight it was sickening...

my friend pointed out that between rounds they always showed super slow motion replays of cotto landing shots on margarito. they never did for margarito, even if he won the round they'd show more/better cotto highlights.

This fight also made me realize that Cintron's punching power wasn't overrated like I thought it was.
Margarito's simply has the thickest skull in boxing.
