If Cotto wins, Margarito's stock still goes up, with Margarito winning Cotto's stock doesnt go up but down. Works both ways though because if Margarito had lost, nobody would have wanted to fight him, but they will now since he has a title. If Clottey wins, Arum will feed him to Cotto, no way he takes that chance again with Clottey and Margarito.

i honestly thought this even tho i was wrong
but i thought if margarito had not KO'd or TKO'd cotto
cotto would have won.
let me tell you why.....
because obviously cotto is super big fighter now and everybody is tsarting to recognize him but they woulda gave cotto the fight because he is the big star and they can make money off of him and it would be no good if tijuana tornado won the match because hardly anybody knows marg.

I thought they were going to give Cotto the fight because he is more marketable than Tony but the three judges scorecards had a majority decision in favor of Margarito at the time of the stoppage.Comment
