Cotto was that guy he should fight. A 32-0 fighter who was 1 win away from cleaning out the division. He wasn't the true welterweight champ but he could have filled the vacant slot had he beaten Margarito.

I really wish he'd come back for the winner of Margarito-Williams II, but I don't think he will, especially if Williams wins. That's not a fight I see Floyd winning to be honest. But if Mayweather-Margarito came off, I would be so happy to watch that one-sided (but dull) fight
