Margarito win is more impressive because many didnt expect him to win.

For me it was a 50/50 chance depending on Cotto

The question pertains to who won in a more impressive manner. In the way they won, how they won, excitement. You know

Margarito's easily. He was the underdog and was getting outboxed but fought back and destroyed one of the best, if not the best welter.

Mayweather-Hatton was probably a closer fight for 6 or 7 rounds. Floyd was landing slightly more but not really doing an awful lot until the 8th round massacre. Hatton got ****** and frustrated, started running in and got nailed. He was also far too small for 147.

he wasnt supposed to win, only a few of us picked him and only because cotto is vunerable.

with mayweather, we knew in 2005 he would get his ass handed to him, however the fight was even more dominant for mayweather than we expected, mayweather showed us just how many demensions he has in his game, margarito was gettin stuck badly, but he kept coming foward, kept throwing punches, even though i feel hes limited, he made the best of his limitations by not giving up.

if that fight was at 140, it would have ended even sooner, mayweather was faster, stronger and even less gun shy at that weight. There is a reason they turned it down back in 05.

Its close but Id go with Floyd because of the way he did it. He totally disrupted Hatton's gameplan by doing two things...holding him and ducking to his right. Hatton missed all night, Floyd's gameplan was to let Hatton tired himself out while using hardly any of his own energy. Margarito, we knew what his gameplan would be going into the fight, its the same every time, come forward, throw alot of punches. Floyd doesnt fight every fight the same, Margarito does. Margarito impressed me alot.

Definitely Margarito's the fight was more exciting, plus Mayweather was pretty much expected to win while Margarito was not.
