The fight was amazing. I was entertained from start to finish! Barely any clinching just under 12 rounds of non stop action. Both men deserve respect for the punishment they endured, especially Margarito. Margarito was being outclassed for the majority of the first 5 rounds but just kept chasing Cotto down! I hate seeing these Cotto bashing threads about how he quit, Cotto never quit! Cotto was severely discouraged at his inability to hurt Margarito and couldn't believe Margarito never took a backwards step or slowed down. Cotto took 2 knees before his corner threw in the towel, so he wasn't properly knocked down or counted out so I think he will recover and come back! He never gave an in ring interview probably because this is his first defeat and that would be hard to take. I wasn't a big Cotto fan but after that fight both fighters have gained my respect and my support in the future!
