So is Cotto's chin still questionable?

I think we can put this matter to rest and say that Cotto has a good chin at 147.
it's not cotto's chin that betrayed him it was his stamina and conditioning. i told u mofos that cotto gased against mosley that's why he got on his bike for rounds 9-12.

Good chin definitely, it was his heart that gave out after giving everything he had and Margarito was just walking through his punches.

See, this is the kind of thinking that negatively affects the sport. A guy like Oscar Diaz goes out there and gives it everything and he gets hurt bad. Cotto was behaving very professionally because he knew he was in trouble and had no other recourse but to take a knee and try to regain himself.

It was clear that there was no way Cotto was going to survive the rest of the fight so his corner threw in the towel. Don't discredit fighters when you know you'd have quit much, much sooner than that. Like in the dressing room.

Of course Cotto's chin is good, no denying that.
That would be a good come back fight. Would get him a belt too. I still stand by the fact that Cotto can beat any other WW. Would have beat Margarito if he didnt have a titanium chin.

I mainly made this thread because I got tired of seeing people post about how Cotto has a glass chin, and anytime he was fighting someone with a little bit of power people said it would come down to his chin. Even against Margarito it came down to his stamina more than anything. He got tired, couldnt throw quick punches to keep margarito at bay, so it was eventually just target practice in the end. The pressure of Margarito finally got Cotto exhausted.

Nah man. Margo hurt him no doubt a few times, but i mean you can't say his chin is bad. The KDs came from him being exausted and body shots wore him down IMO.
