Most definitely, don't you think? From start to finish and with the so called "defining moment" Boxing needs allot more of these...

Great fight, but not as good as Vazquez-Marquez III.

No I liked it better than Vasquez-Marquez III because of the defining moment factor.

            1.Marquez/Vazquez III
            2.Cotto/Marg.
            3.Marquez/Pac II
            4.Casa/Katsidis

These are my candidates with marquez/vazquez III still ahead.

I totally forgot about Vasquez / Marquez fight. Well if Cotto would have at least stopped Margarito in his tracks one or two times this could have been fight of the year. But we all saw how unphased Margarito was after each crushing punch Cotto landed.

Solid list, and proof that it's been a good year for boxing fans so far.

I think its the best. Mar-Vaz go neck in neck i cant wait to see which the ring picks.

And we still got a punch more FOTY candidates to come. Especially Later in the Year with fights like Calzaghe-Jones, and ESPECIALLY in the ultra packed September, headlined by Katsidis-Diaz
