even though cotto did not dare to go toe to toe with margarito i want to give him credit for being a real man and stepping in the ring with the baddest man in the planet. he knew if he signed a contract to fight this man he would not just be fighting for a victory or for his country... he would be fighting for his life!! but he still took the fight when every other big name wouldnt dare. props to him and i know margarito will return the favor and give him a rematch if he dares.

Ran and quit? He boxed beautifully, gave the best performance of his career, and was just overwhelmed by a bigger, stronger man late in the fight. Cotto was amazing. Margarito was just godly.

Cotto fought an amazing fight against a BEAST and I had him winning 6 rounds to 4 going into the 11th. Only thing I thought Cotto should have done was go to the body more, one of the best body punchers in the sport going against a man with an iron chin and he didn't really throw any body shots?

THen you dont respect the sport of boxing. He boxed and it was a good gameplan against Margarito.... Problem is Cotto ran out of gas and fought on the ropes too often. Cotto was beating Marg to the punch and hitting him with some big shots, Margarito has a remarkable chin.
