Can Cotto bounce back like Quintana, Williams and Margarito all did?

The Welterweight division is a total mess now as far as who's #1. Marg defeated Cotto who defeated Quintana who defeated Williams who defeated Marg, see what I mean? Joshua Clottey and Zab Judah were also beaten by Margarito and Cotto respectively, not to mention Kermit Cintron and Shane Mosley. Can we throw these 4 guys back into the mix again?

Andre Berto is the only undefeated champion left in the division but really... Would you favor Berto to beat any of the top guys at the moment? I think it's going to be a merry go round of victories between now and the next year or two, if you ever needed an example for "Styles make fights" Welterweight is the division you need to look at.

He can bounce back. But it's not a toss up. Margarito and Williams are too big for welter. They beat any of the welters below them.

I hope he can, it depends on how he deals with the loss.

LOL @ the Berto comment and I'm a Berto fan. Yes Cotto can come back. Some of you guys act like he was getting whooped. Through 10 I had it even and one round was so close that I awarded to Marg it coulda been 6-4 Cotto. If Miguel boxes a little better and somehow stays out of trouble a little less he can win back the title. It will be tough though because what we seen last night it's pretty tough to keep Margarito off you.

I hope so, you never know how a fighter feels mentally or anyone else for that matter. He had never really been hurt like that before, and I hope he recovers well.

Still something in the back of my mind tells me he may never be the same, but Cotto mentally is a pretty strong guy.

yeah he can. i think he loses to marg everytime though! he can maybe beat williams. as for anyone else in 47 cotto still can win! lets not forget this was a close fight till the end, and cotto fought beautiful, but just couldnt hurt marg!

Of course he can, he'll come back stronger. What can't kill you will only make you stronger.

Yeah, I think so. I just hope that the loss don't make him doubt himself.

Yeh he will come back, he was fighting great up to the 7th round. I'd like to see him fight the winner of Judah-Clottey then maybe Paul Williams after that.
