The HBO broadcast team is too biased....

Don't get me wrong Cotto was doing superb in the first half of the fight, but Lampley and co. were kssing his ass WAYYY too much. Whenever Margarito would land a punch they would try to discredit him saying it didn't land and what not. When Cotto landed a flurry they called it a 'classic performance.' Now, don't me wrong Cotto is GREAT but they were too biased, almost as if Cotto has a contract with HBO. Kinda like the times they called Forbes-De La Hoya a masterful eprformance by DLH. Kinda like the way they said Maskaev-Peter was a great great fight. BTW anyone else notice Lampley crying at the end by the sound of his voice when he announced an HBO camera man was in the hospital with leukimia?

Did you see how they said oh wait Margarito hit Cotto while on the floor and that should have been a DQ. That Las Vegas is extremely tight on that rule. When Margarito was winning some rounds they like Cotto is hitting crisper punches. When Cotto was hurt in the 7th , they played it down saying he has been here many times before.,

Pissed me off too. Even the rounds Margarito would whoop his ass badly, they show replays of Cotto landing some shots.

I thought Manny and Max did a solid job but Lampley was horribly biased.I thought he was kinda bad but then i watched the fight again and paid more attention to it and he was horrible.I thought Manny did a great job though pointing out how he thought Marg was wearing on Cotto from round 2 till it was over.

Hmmnnn...probably because in the first half of the fight, the only fighter who was punching with any precision was Cotto, pretty much? The 7th round changed it all.

Max Kellerman, despite the hate he gets, was calling it accurately when he said that Margarito was getting closer and closer with the right.

And yeah, I thought Lampley was all choked up after witnessing one of the most amazing fights of his life and the condition of Miguel Cotto.

It appears he got emotional after learning about one of the HBO camera men he knows who is fighting for his life in a hospital with Leukemia.

Yeah Many is always too biased but even when Margarito was getting outboxed he knew Margarito was gonna pull through and do somethign towards the later rounds. Kellerman was biased at first but slowly started turning to Margaritos favor. Lampley was just too biased, when Cotto was hurt he just kept saying Cotto was blocking all those punches. When your face looks like chopped-up liver meat you are not blocking all the punches coming to your face.
