Cotto is a warrior and he fought brilliantly. Every boxer deserves respect for stepping into that ring risking their lives like that. Both fighters gets my respect.

I got nothing but respect for Cotto. He is one of my favorites. I was rooting for Margarito tonight but I still don't like the fact that Cotto lost. I still don't see many guys out there who can hang with Cotto. To me he is still a badass.

People don't get paid millions to ****ing quit.
so all of Duran legacy went through the drain because he quit?

He fought himself back to become a champion

He beaten people who are bigger than him and brawled with the best.

win or lose Duran is alway a warrior. He is more warrior then any fighter in this era.

He fight people that people expecting him to lose with a KO. but he still fights.

for what ever reason he quited that fight he is still a warrior and deserve the respect.

He fought in the ring even before some of the peoples parent were even born.

            70s 80s 90s

A fighter is not determine whole his legacy on one fight.

Duran is alway a fighter and nobody should question his heart on any sitaution that happen.

If like you going to judge on one fight then Margarito lost to Santos and Paul Williams what does this makes him? He only won a belt on one weight division
