Cotto fought the fight of his life....

    AND LOST!!!!

Man this is bull **** all this **** about Cotto could have done this and that, Cotto put on a masterful performance boxing. That was the best performance I have seen from Cotto and he lost.

These bull **** excuses are ridiculous, he could have went to the body? I guess Margarito's pressure and body attack didn't stop that it must have been Cotto. Margarito fought his exact fight and Cotto couldn't get away from his fight, he boxed beautifully, landed amazing shots, but he simply was not the better fighter.

No excuses dude lost because he was out fought straight up.

And I liked Cotto more then Margarito, still think he is the more talented fighter. Stamina obviously plays in to place and Cotto didn't have what he needed to win.

seriously...Cotto was insanely overhyped by his fans. at least his fans on here. I'd like to think the majority of his fans aren't as delusional as the idiots on here like Sin City and 2501 going around saying Cotto can beat Floyd and ****.

Do you honestly think he wants one? He hit Margarito with everything he had and still got his ass kicked.

But he was landing the cleaner shots for the better part of the fight not just the first four rounds. He was landing hard shots and making Margarito miss, Margarito had a very lower percentage of landed shots for a lot of the rounds. No matter what you say he put on an amazing boxing performance, he showed a lot of heart and skill in this fight. A lot more skill then Margarito, out boxed him in every sense. Made Margarito look bad at times, but Cotto lost plain and simple.

He showed what he could be and that is an amazing boxer puncher with tons of talent, but he got is ass kicked after everything was said and done.

It takes a lot of energy to be constantly circling and picking shots. Cotto doesn't appear to have the stamina to do that constantly for 12 rounds at the moment. That fool should've known keeping still like that against the ropes and whatnot was murder though. I immediately was like wtf?! when he first did it. He needed to clinch instead. Marg swings so slow people were thinking them shots to the head and body weren't doing serious damage early.. the truth was he was putting his entire essence in those mummy punches and slowly sucking the life out of Miguel.
