I love hatton fans, all so blind to the fact he's an overrated conman who is just useing the british and english especially, for his own money gaining. But as for Floyd running from the "smaller man" I think you need to be taught a lesson about Floyds past - he is and was a natural super featherweight boxer...Floyd is the one who came UP he went from super featherweight to Super welterweight so logically floyd is naturally the smaller man than hatton (a fat light-welterweight). I just love how all these hatton fans give every excuse in the book "OMG REF, OMG THOSE EXTRA 7 LBS COST HATTON THE FIGHT" - No the fact is floyd just outclassed him and demolished him. How about Hatton tries to make super featherweight? LOL i'd love to see that from the overweight drunk.

Lol @ all of you haters. he probably is/was the most polished fighter in the sport in the past 10 years... won a title in 5 divisions..who do you know with that much technical skill that can beat Mayweather? haters keep throwing guys at him to get eaten alive..Calm the **** down give him his due.. and let him retire so I don't have to read bull**** ass topics about him

By the way 25 of his 39 fights were all by K.O.
OR maybe its because i have been watching boxing for 30 years.. and i know greatness when i see it.. Floyd has great skills.. but he is NOT a great fighter and he has always taken the path of least resistance to get where he is

Disagreed, the only time people have really "watched" floyd is in his most recent fights against bigger men. Floyd has great skill, he has great timing, foot-work,hand speed and one of the greatest defences in boxing.....add onto that he's gone from super feather to super welter and won a belt in each division along the way to say he's always taken the path of least resistance is laughable.

If floyd wanted to take the path of least resistance he never would of moved out of his weightclass to fight bigger men. Floyd is the greatest p4p of this era wether you want to admit it or not just because he didn't fight some of the fighters people wanted him to that makes him a chicken? That's the worst logic ever "OH YOU'RE NOT FIGHTING THIS GUY SO YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY DUCKING HIM" it's ******. The fact is this - Floyd is a money man simple as that, yeah that's not what boxings about but I think everyones forgot the fact that Floyd was made to box (He never had a choice) from a young age and was never allowed to have fun or a childhood so to him boxing is his lifes trade he's not gonna fight somone if there's a better money deal somwhere else. You can't call him a chicken for this, it's the smart decision on his part it does NOT make him a chicken though.

its very simple actually!!! compare mayweather's opponents with those of margarito and cotto. you see its very easy to shine when you fight a slow gatti, a quitter zab judah, an old and slow baldomir, a washed up dlh, and get ure ass beat by castillo in the first fight. or a small hatton thats slow and old as well. come on now!! wheres the competition here. not that hard to keep a 0 on ure record when u fight opponents like those. mayweather wont get a lot of people's respect until he is in a competitive fight in which he wins clearly. he needs to stop duckin real fighters, its not all about the money, but instead about assuring ure legacy as a fighter. VIVA ANTONIO MARGARITO!!!fight the best thats the way to go.

            "Hater" is a female expression.
            "***** don't like my dress?"
            "She just a hater anyway!"

God damn. I hate threads like this. Because you don't like alot of punching, you think that makes you a more sophisticated boxing fan? How pathetic. You'll probably tell me about the "sweet science," being totally ignorant of the fact that the phrase is meant to be ironic. This type of boxing elitism makes me sick and doesn't belong in the sport.
