nothing at all clear about that round 2 nonsense. Margarito came forward and landed punches, but Cotto landed the better ones. I think I only had Margarito winning 3 rounds, and I'm not a fan of either. I guess I'd say I'm a bigger Cotto fan than Margarito fan, but they're both on my dislike list thanks to their ignorant fans. I was shocked to see Cotto wasn't winning on the cards before round 11. it was poor scoring if you ask me, but I'll score it again next weekend

I thought he had it even 95-95

        ROUND 1: Cotto
        ROUND 2: Margarito
        ROUND 3: Cotto
        ROUND 4: Cotto
        ROUND 7: Margarito

I know that for sure and he had 86-85 Cotto at one point, so yeah it was 95-95 going into round 11

I don't know, maybe I didn't watch it close enough, but I thought Cotto was in clear control but losing his grip on the fight. If Margarito had simply won rounds 11 and 12 I think I would have had it 115-113 for Cotto. Props to Margarito for chasing the KO (does he ever do otherwise) because the last thing I wanted was a close decision where everybody cries controversy

Cotto was landing the better shots, but he was running too much.....Aggression and pressure are very improtant when scoring fights

Margarito won rounds by coming forward like a tank all night controlling the pace of the fight, landing shots, making Cotto run away.

              Perfect gameplan from Margarito

there was no running until round 9 and onwards. there is nothing wrong with landing hard punches and moving away.

Clinching more would mean eating more uppercuts and body punches on the clinch.

Take note Margarito is the larger man.

Punching while on the clinch will be easy for Marg.
