Same reason why i think cotto will win the rematch with margorito... he has to see how beautiful the first 6 rounds were....they were great.

Yeah, many people believe that Mayweather can not be beaten. I personally believe that he was already heading past his prime so the decision to retire was a good one. Young fighters like Cotto, Margarito ect would have gave him absolute hell.

on both sides of the equation, i mean, it seems like most people are looking to one of their national heroes to beat mayweather as opposed to anyone else. people would argue for years about margarito, cotto etc, but most threads about fellow americans beating him usually go unnoticed.

Yeah, thats the bad thing about the non stop boxing forum. There are biased fans that are haters and nut huggers. For example, one of the Klitschko fans said that David Haye has a poor resume, which is funny since his resume was better than Klitschko's when he only had 21 fights. Haye has already unified cruiserweight and could be heavyweight champion by next year. Wladimir didn't start fighting rank opponents until he had over 30 fights. I like boxingscene better but when i want to talk knowledge, i go to ESB for serious conversations.

Floyd is very smart and knows how to handle his opponents. He knows what to expect and doesn't go in the ring foolishly "thinking" he can do something he knows he cannot.

Cotto's thing is power, pressure and breaking down his opponent. Floyd knows he cannot overpower Margarito and will not try to. He knows he has to avoid those uppercuts, avoid getting caught at the end of punches, move a lot for 12 rounds...

and that is exactly what he would do to win a decision.

Good Point. I don't think Margarito is on Floyd's level. When Cotto boxed Tony he made it look easy. Floyd is a better boxer than Cotto and the reason Cotto lost is because he fought Margarito's fight. He didn't want to box and run he wanted to trade shots. TOny is just to big and his chin is why a welterweigh can't trade punches with him. BOXING now that is a different subject.
