The ****ing Terminator!? I swear, Cotto was tagging Margarito with some beautiful shots, shots that if Mayweather were to get hit by he would go down like a sack of bricks, but Margarito was standing there like they were nothing. I give so much respect to Margarito, I being a Cotto fan of course wanted Marg to lose and I was pissed since Cotto lost but this man is a ****ing machine. The guy throws some of the slowest punches I have seen but he just doesn't stop coming. I can't help but think that if Cotto had better stamina and his nose wasn't busted up by Marg that the fight could've went his way but Marg did what he had to do and I give him props. I wouldn't say he won me over as a fan but i certainly would like to see who he fights next.
How can I not give respect to Cotto, I think he proved that his chin is fine, he took some good shots and didn't go down, he only went down because Marg just ****ing swarmed him like a bee protecting it's hive or whatever. Cotto, I thought fought great but the pressure was too much and I am a little pissed that he didn't hold more as the fight was getting to the later rounds, it was clear that Margs pressure would soon overcome Cotto. I read now people are calling Cotto a coward or he's a sore loser, those people are ****ing ******, he hugged Margarito in the ring and gave him a little pat on the cheek clearly giving his respect to Marg. Some of these clear haters don't realize that Cotto holds his fans and his Puerto Rican people close to his heart and losing in that fashion, it's like to him he let them down and it's hard to face someone who you let down I imagine.
Those who don't give respect to Cotto can **** off really, same as those who don't give respect to Marg who IMO (i don't know how much he made tonight) deserves a big money fight. Cotto should take a year off to get his mind and body refreshed and I hope to see him again, and I can't believe I'm saying this but, I can't wait to see who Marg fights next, should be interesting.
