I am not by any means denying that he quit... but he gave it his all in the ring. he literraly fought til he dropped. he didn't come out dance around and then take a knee... he fought his ass off!!!! that's what i mean when i say he went out on his shield... that needs to be recognized these idiots jump on here disrespecting the dude. when what they should be saying is "wow they went to war! that was awesome!" he sustained a hell of alot of punishment at the same time dishing alot of his own... when was the last time you seen margarito hit so many times and win... I give all props to margarito he did his f-in thing... at that point cotto would have been taking unnecessary punishment. the fight was over... besides do you think he wanted to get layed out in front of his wife and kid... that would have been devastating to him and them... it was a classic fight and that's why i say cotto had nothing to be ashamed of...Comment

I think that if Cotto had fought a slightly different fight he would have had a much better chance at winning. Get a couple of shots in and then clutch or hold until the ref breaks them.
But Cotto doesn't fight like that, he could have turned it into a John Ruiz- Ricky Hatton slopfest and had a much better chance at winning but he's a true fighter in there and I respect that.
Any guy that's smaller than Margarito and can't take the punishment for 12 full will need to employ an ugly style of fighting.
Face it. Tony's an animal. He's like a Grizzly Bear that attacks you in the woods. Even though you are stabbing it in the eye it never stops trying to rip and tear you apart.

I picked Cotto to win by UD because I have a hard time picking against the better boxer with more speed and skill.
