Hatton wasn't nearly in as poor condition as was Cotto.
Yeah Hatton got KTFO but it looked like if Cotto had stayed any longer in that fight it could have been a serious threat to his life.

To those who try to make themselves feel better by saying "HE QUIT"....no, he didnt quit he got his ass beat and was going to get KOd if the fight didnt get stopped. He left because of his ego, not like a champion or sportsman.

He pretty much Walked by Marg, aknowledged him for 1 second and then and left the ring.

I don't blame Cotto for leaving the ring right after the fight. He took an enormous amount of punishment and probably was not in his right mind after getting KO'd...

Personally, I don't give a **** that he didn't stay for an interview. He congratulated Tony and then left. It's understandable to emotional in such a situation and I don't see it as being classless.

Man, he hugged Margo after the fight, didn't you see that? Cotto was really hurt after that one, there's nothing wrong in leaving when your that hurt and your face looks like that. I wouldn't want to talk on live TV after that kind of fight. It was his right to leave, he fought his heart out. Holyfield walked out after the first Bowe fight just like that, no shame in that kind of exit.

SD I did notice that too. He just abandoned everyone, at least that is what it looked like to me. Walking straight to his locker! Looks to me like a sore loser!

He hugged Margarito right after the stoppage, maybe you were too busy celebrating to notice it.
