    Bob Arum F'd up...

Miguel was the more marketable fighter, and the fighter who more guys would be willing to fight.

Delahoya doesn't have the power to hurt Tony, nor the stamina to keep Tony off him. I would be shocked - SHOCKED - if Goldie took that fight.

Where does Miguel go now? the rest of the year off, and then a comeback vs David Estrada? And the long road back...maybe a Shane rematch? Or the Zab/Clottey loser? (The winner gets Tony).

    Hell yeah Arum ****ed up.
You saw how he was hyping Cotto for this fight.
Dubbing him as the reason why Floyd retired and ****.

He congratulated Margarito after the fight and looked happy for him, but deep down inside he knows there would have been alot flexibility for him if Cotto would have won.

It would have been a world of options open for him that could've possibly set up a super mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather.

      Put yourself in Arum's position:

The future of your company just took an L

A guy who nobody wants to fight has just become mainstream...and chances are...nobody still wants to fight him.

      A no super mega-fight.

I agree. It would have been more of a win-win situation if Cotto won because even if Margarito lost he knew he was going to bring in for 12 rounds and people like to see a warrior regardless of the outcome (i.e. Gatti). So Margarito would still be marketable and Cotto would be set up for something bigger.

So basically you're saying that we should cater to the whims of cowards? Instead of demanding they step up?

And then you people wonder why the ****ing sport is in shambles.

I will never understand why Bob Arum was so gung ho to make this fight. He has wanted this fight for so long, i guess the saying is true be careful what you wish for.

By "coward", do you mean the guy who ran all night, took a knee (twice!!), quit, and ran back to the locker room?

              That guy?

Arum just did a huge disservice to boxing. He took a budding superstar ready to carry boxing on his back and replaced him with an unmarketable fighter in Antonio Margarito.

He got overly confident with Cotto as his rising star, but still cashes in.

The question now is how long will Margo hang onto the belt until someone comes along and beats him?

Will he move up in weight or will he stay at welter and face Klottey who almost beat him?
