Ironically, Cotto's face looked alot like how he leaves his opponents at the end of fights.
Margarito, who probably took more flush shots from Cotto than anyone else left the fight with only a swollen cheek.

Cotto rarely went to the body which was strange.

He explained **** perfectly when he said Cotto is landing the better stuff, but he still looks to be the more shaky fighter.
Just like the Hatton fight when he gave those rounds to Ricky.

When a guy is as open as Margarito was, power punchers like Cotto (and Cintron) expect their punches to do damage.

Cotto would have won if he didn't keep coming forward after being hit. At points he was fine moving away and getting out of trouble. And all the times Miguel was hurt was when he was on the ropes. I don't know why he didn't tie Margarito up after he took a knee.

Thats what i kept thinking, Even though Cotto was landing the crispier and better shots he looks too shaky on the ropes anytime Margarito caught up with him.

He fought the wrong fight totally, He didnt plant his feet and go to the body like he would normally do which would have slowed Margarito down.
