If his record proves one thing, it's that Margarito doesn't match up well with tall southpaws. He's got to get the Williams stigma off him, but other than that he should avoid them.

I think Margarito's relentless pressure would eventually get to Mayweather, and Floyd would be stopped in a late round.

Floyd's punches wouldn't be able to keep Margarito off him, he would need to run all night, and eventually he would tire and slow down enough for Margarito to connect with enough punches to hurt him.

Mayweather beats Margarito. Floyd could do what Cotto was able to do effectively, land and move, for 12 rounds. He has better defense than Cotto and he really doesn't care what the fight looks like to the fans, so I think he would win a comfortable, but hard fought decision if they ever faced off.
