Margarito defeats cotto by KO

It wasnt what i predicted (my pick was cotto by 12 RD decision) but it was something we all said was likely...

cotto by body shot or margarito by busting cotto's chin.

i had it even after 10 rounds...

i heard two of the judges had it 96-94 for margarito and the other had it even...so i wasnt really too far off...

that was an incredible fight from both guys...

cotto fought smart...but not smart enough...

margarito fought in such a ruthless way its admirable 100%...

there isnt enough good things that can be said about both fighters tonight.



i AM man enough to say my eyes did tear up...not because of the actual fight but it was really sad (to be 100% honest) to see cotto's kid crying like that...they shouldnt bring kids to fights like that...it has to be painful to see your dad's face soaked in blood and his face damn near disfigured...

great fight though...

there are so many places each fighter can go from here...a rematch isnt out of the question...margarito v. de la hoya might not be a fight oscar will take (too high risk little reward)...cotto can go for hatton maybe?
