Mayweather beat both of them I think, although Margarito is the most dangerous fighter. I don't think Cotto can seriously hurt Floyd and he definately cannot outbox him.

Im not so sure, Mayweather would be on defense alot and Marg would not run out of gas so it would be an interesting fight. Not to mention Floyd would most likely not stop Marg with a "check hook".

Floyd makes the ring bigger (like he did when he fought Hatton), he'd just dance around him all night, the gangly Mexican would get owned.

Mayweather does not get hit when he is on the ropes.He has the ability to shouder roll punches,while Cotto was leaning into to punches on the ropes,IE the Marg uppercut.If you think Cotto has anything close to a Mayweather defense than I suggest you stop watching the sport.If Cotto can outbox Marg and stay ahead on the cards for the majority of the fight Maywethaer can as well.Take a look at the Oscar fight and see how he avoids punches on the ropes.Oscar may not be in his prime but his power and punch output is still on the elite level and I would of favored him over Cotto.
