he didn't fail miserably, it was working well until the 6th when he stood there and didn't move, and got hit by uppercuts

Mayweather beat both of them I think, although Margarito is the most dangerous fighter. I don't think Cotto can seriously hurt Floyd and he definately cannot outbox him.

Floyd makes the ring bigger (like he did when he fought Hatton), he'd just dance around him all night, the gangly Mexican would get owned.

Mayweather does not get hit when he is on the ropes. He has the ability to shouder roll punches, while Cotto was leaning into to punches on the ropes,IE the Marg uppercut. If you think Cotto has anything close to a Mayweather defense than I suggest you stop watching the sport. If Cotto can outbox Marg and stay ahead on the cards for the majority of the fight Maywethaer can as well.Take a look at the Oscar fight and see how he avoids punches on the ropes.Oscar may not be in his prime but his power and punch output is still on the elite level and I would of favored him over Cotto.

All I've got to say is that it's a good thing Mayweather ducked Margarito and retired even though he was still in his prime because his ass would have been tapped hard by Margarito. Good job knowing when to call it quits Mayweather And have fun tossing your fake cash at cheap women

Too bad Mayweather never had the balls to do it, he said Margarito wasn't known well enough yet he beat up on old Shamba Mitchell.

Mayweather will probably have a rematch with the big show.

If Cotto couldnt hurt margarito then no chance mayweather even hurts him. this fight i hope never happens mayweather would run like a ***** all night and be a joke! if he ever tried to go toe to toe margarito would knock his head off!!!!
