i hate to say i told u so but styles make fights and Cotto showed he was vulnerable defensively when u was backing up in the last 3 rounds of the Mosley fight and i felt it would catch up with him against Marg thats what happened

im still a harden Cotto fan though **** Marg he is a good fighter but Cotto all the way for me

the body shots seem to drain Cotto IMO i thought he was struggling to hold onto some of the body shots he was beathing very heavily in the corner and he looked uncomfortable and he faded bit time in the last few rounds

Cotto would never beat Marg if they fought a 10 times he could be more aggresive next time and probabaly win most of the rounds but Marg is always gonna catch up with him cause he throws to many punches and he hits to hard for Cotto

IMO i think if cotto would of just kept on circling the ring w/o stopping, the match would of gone until the end of the 12th. Then he could of won by judges decision. But nope the Tijuana Tornado killed him. But seriously cotto was the better boxer but Margarito got him at the end. Viva margarito

I compared it to Foreman - Frazier.

Not that I thought it would be a destruction, which it wasn't, but it was a case of a man so much bigger and stronger going against a man who could not keep away from trading punches for the full 12 rounds. Cotto did a good job early on, like most thought he would, but Margarito is granite.

If there is a rematch, Cotto will keep away from exchanges and the ropes at all costs, like Taylor did against Pavlik in the rematch. It won't live up to this.
