No way in hell Oscar fights Margarito, he would get killed.. Tony would make him quit.

Wow you guys are not giving Oscar De La Hoya any credit at all he is a pretty tough dude and a better boxer i could see him decisioning Margarito. Do not let one fight cloud your judgement.

I agree that DLH don't want none of that and he has said it repeatedly..... But i gotta admit it would be interesting as DLH has some pretty good pop.

I'd definitely make Marg the favorite though.

I don't think Cotto want's any thing to do with Margarito after this display. He gave it all he could, but I don't see it going any other way. Effective boxing and countering punching in the first couple rounds and giving away to pressure and getting caught in the later rounds.

Oscar on the other hand has only been "knocked out" once and that was by a MUCH bigger middleweight in Bernard Hopkins. I can see Oscar going the distance with Margarito as he has much more experience than Cotto and is a master boxer. And, if we all have forgotten. Oscar can lay mother ****ers out. Margarito can take a punch, no doubt about it, but has he ever been hit with a perfect ODH left hook. No he hasn't.

I think it would be the perfect match to retire with. And if Oscar really wants to seal his legacy as one of the best P4P fighters of all time, win lose or draw, he has to take this fight. **** Pac. **** Hatton. This is the fight!

Five or more years ago I would have to side with you but at this stage of his career he would need his legs.....and those are pretty much shot...the constant pressure would be too much for him.
