    What happened to David estrada?

I remember when this cat first started getting press with his win over chris smith. When he fought shane Mosley his trainer, Angelo Dundee, was quoted as saying he had a live dog and i thought he boxed well, he lost , but i though he held his own with a fighter of "Sugars" calibre. I'll admit the Mosley should have ended the fight around the 5th w/ body shots but he, for some reason failed to go back to the gut when everyone knew he had hurt estrada in the 4th. Just curious

He couldn't deal with the volume punching and high workrate and true grit of Soto-Karass and he was tko'ed in the 8th.
It was an early stoppage but you could tell Estrada wanted no more when the fight was stopped.

He had some good moments in that fight, just couldn't keep up.

David Estrada is still one of my favorite boxers, because of his style. He gets right in your face and throws punches in bunches, and I remember that fight with The Mechanic when he first got press. I like how calm and relaxed he seems to be while being aggressive, it's strange watching that guy fight it's like he's calm, but aggressive simultaneously.

My favorite Dundee quote referring to Estrada was ' my guy's gonna put some hurt on him' between rounds

Estrada had a tough fight with Mosley, then he fought Cintron and Cintron knocked him out late, he fought Berto and Berto landed so much clean leather on him and koed him eventually again late. Estrada should retire cause he gets hit too much with too many flush shots.

You should like Soto-Karass. That dude is the definition of hard work and he's not even terribly skilled. Just gets by on working every minute of every fight.

Soto-Karass is a poor man's Margarito. By no coincidence they are stablemates as well.

I've never seen Soto-Karass. Could he be successful against guys like Berto, Collazo and Quinatana?
