nearly every filipino in my neighborhood bought the pacman fight, reigonal promise doesnt mean national promise when it comes to PPV buys.

i hope so because it wasnt until yesterday i really started seeing some real promotion on spanish TV. other than that, no billboards, no ads in the paper really, i been dissapointed with the promotion.

Almost every young male sports fan I know saw Floyd Mayweather knock out Ricky Hatton, which did like what 800K? 900? Then only a few people I know saw Mayweather DLH which did 2 mil.

Cotto-Mosley did 340K.

That's an increase of just over 100K, I expect this PPV to do 450K

The internet created the margarito hype by using mayweathers name, which really is his claim to fame for the most part, because when he was losing to daniel santos and KOing Cintron nobody really knew who he was except hardcore fans.

Cotto on the other hand would still have puerto rico behind him, if it wasnt for the internet, this fight wouldnt even be PPV.

yeah there are alot more boriquas and mexicans, word of mouth is much better than posters and ****. When people around you get excited, you get excited! 450k
