    Margarito's Jab

Margarito has a huge height and reach advantage and to throw that away in a fight of this magnitude is crazy. If he can use his jab more and stay on the outside, box a little more than he normally does, Cotto won't be able to get anywhere near him. But, i can't see Margarito doing that because his style doesn't permit him to do that.

Just wondering if anyone else would like to see Margarito take a slightly different approach to this fight considering the size advantage he has over Cotto?

If Margarito cae out and boxed it would defy the laws of physics creating a brake in time and the universe would collapse into itself.

I don't see Margo boxing at all.

size isnt everything. margarito has to fight his kind of fight. he cant just change everything thats worked for him in his career for the biggest fight of his life. margarito needs to do what he does best and that is be a relentless pressure fighter who has no regard for human life. he has to pick his spots and throw his usual high volume power punches to wear cotto down. and when he has cotto hurt margarito is one of the best finishers in the game due to his great stamina and bloodthirsty nature. margarito has to do all of the same things that got him to this point in his career and i guarantee if margarito fights his fight cotto will not be able to cope with him for 12 rounds.

Yeh i think it could be a mistake not using it to his advantage, but then again Margarito's style is how he has fought his whole career and if he changed that now he would probabaly not know what to do.

go watch the williams fight. that is a perfect example of margarito changing his style and thats the only reason he lost that fight. once he piled on the pressure and started landing his big shots he was dominating williams. margarito cannot make the same mistake again. he must fight his fight and if by some miracle he loses then at least he will know he fought his very best and gave it his all.

This is what he will do, and i don't mind that. I'm just worried about Margarito underestimating the power of Cotto, the guy has a mean power jab and his body shots can be a huge impact on the direction of the fight.
