On a sidenote is there a rematch clause in this fight?

I havent seen or heard of it anywhere, So does anyone know if there is a rematch clause in this fight?

Am pretty sure Someone like Cotto(Arum) might want one in the contract....And am pretty sure Margarito has NO regard for clauses or contract..So am curious.

I can almost guarantee there is. When you have a fight of this magnitude there almost always is a demand for it by the champion.. In this case Miguel Cotto.

We didn'y hear it mentioned in the Vernon Forrest vs. Sergio Mora fight either but they still had one..
Usually when promoting the fight they don't get into the details of the contracts which is why it probably hasn't been mentioned.

Nope, there is no rematch clause (according to ESPN). However if the fight lives up to the hype, best believe there will be a rematch.

Oh thanks it gives this fight an a better incentive if people think there is NO rematch clause, We should be expecting a war then

              absolutely.

on a side note I was thinking to myself that if the fight does live up to the hype, no matter who wins both fighters will be rewarded, even the loser will get great opportunities in the future
