With Floyd gone 147lbs is in recession

Floyd retired, leaving a promising 147lbs devision. We have Cotto and Margaritto tonite and I am sure Margaritto will beat Cotto and you fellas will go back to your usual 'I've always known he was overated'.Some will even suggest that Ricky Hatton could knock out Cotto and knowing Ricky he will try to get Cotto to England.

If Cotto gets beaten, what's left at 147lbs?Margaritto has been beaten before and his rematch with Williams is not exactly a dream fight.Everyone's incentive was a possible shot at Floyd, now he's gone.

WHo will do great ppv at 147lbs?

Even Bob Arum knows it wont be a press conference without mentioning Floyd. After Margaritto knocks out Cotto,Arum will start talking about how Floyd retired to avoid a Margaritto fight.Everyone wants Floyd thats why they all mention him,he was the star of the devision.

The question remains, whats left if Cotto loses, you lot will be back to cheering Judah and Mosley again

see, the difference between you and I is that we follow boxer(s), not A boxer. Cotto isnt even my favorite fighter. if Cotto loses, oh well. Thats not the end of his career. why is it so hard for you mayweather fans to enjoy the sport without your idol having to be part of it? you guys cant just discuss **** without crying about how Floyd isnt treated right by the boxing community or how unfair the standards that are put on floyd are. its always this with you..

"if he beats this guy, they'll say he was overrated"
"if he beats this guy, they'll find someone else"
"theres nothing floyd can do to satisfy people"

STFU already. all that **** would end of he would actually back up what he claims he fought the fighters the FANS wanted him to fight, not ELLERBE wanted him to fight.

no one asked for the Baldomir fight like they've asked for the Cotto fight
no one asked for the DLH fight like they've asked for the Cotto fight
no one asked fo the Hatton fight like they've asked for the Cotto fight

in EVERY ****in article about Floyd, Miguel Cotto's name is brought up and vice versa and its usually in this context.

"to the dislike of boxing fans, Floyd will be fighting so and so instead of Miguel Cotto"

and you KNOW this because they are posted and written every day. so how bout you guys stop making Floyd the victim here. If he is gonna claim to be better than SRR and NOT fight the biggest challenges out there for him, then there should be NO reason why you shouldnt expect a backlash from the community. live with it.

You must be demented if you think Cotto was a challenge to Floyd,Cotto would be a punchbag, repeat of gatti.

Cotto is just too slow for Floyd, apart from hitting Floyd's balls I cant see him landing a shot on Floyd, besides he lost to Mosley.

                Now back to Floyd:
Baldomir was holding all the belts when Floyd beat him,he had beaten Judah when noone expected him to and the fight was even called PrettyRisky.Baldomir was being hailed as a cindrella man,and he was a big WW.He had a go forward style which many thought Floyd could be in trouble but like Floyd does everytime he made Baldomir look ordinary.

Oscar had brutally knocked out Mayorga at 154 and was being hailed as a tough challenge coz of his hook, the power, the speed and experience, like Floyd does everytime he just beat Oscar and made it look easy.

Hatton, went with his 50000 drunkards to get knocked out.

The Cottop case is sad,the guy is good but not saleable. In any case he isnt a threat to Floyd at all,Floyd could beat him with his eyes closed (the way Floyd does with his pads)
