Trying to hype up Jeff lacy, like whom you Calzaghe fans do for Kessler to try and make his resume better. Kessler fans should start hyping up Mundine then I suppose. HAHAHAHAHAAHHA

Best of luck for the future to Jeff. I have nothing but respect for the guy since he proved what a warrior he is. Despite the relentless beating from Calzaghe he just would not quit. The guy has a lot of heart! There is no doubt about it -- his corner should have thrown in the towel. I think they are the ones to blame for Jeff's current state of mind, because a beating such as the one which he received just shouldn't have been allowed. It's gotta be hard to regain your confidence after that and Jeff's retirement hasn't surprised me at all.

Again, all the best to Jeff, I wish him and his family well. Thanks Sir Joe for creating the thread. And let's just ignore the thread crappers who disrespect any man who lays his life on the line for our entertainment. These are not true boxing fans, end of story.

A great fighter has retired. Let us remember his greatest moments in the ring.

          Lacy in his prime

It would be all well and good if it wasn't for Ricky/Sir_Joe posting in every thread that Lacy was like Tyson in his prime and an ATG if it wasn't for Calzaghe, in an obvious attempt at trying to hype up his man Joe.

Now seriously, Lacy was an entertaining fighter who provided the fans with good fights and had no quit in him, that I can say about him.
