Damn this kid was supposed to be Legit, But they matched him up against a hungry guy.
I think This banal kid bazooka got over confident just like boom boom bautista did.
Pacman was right about these filipino boxers they let things go to their head as if they are stars like pacman.
This is why pacman is special even though he is the most famous guy in his area he still trains with the hunger of a young lion and remains humble unlike these filipino prospects, these young pinoy kids seem to let the little bit of exposure and fame get to there head.
Every fight is serious for him.

This Rafael guy was tough as nails.
          He deserved the victory.
The body shots on Banal took its toll in the later rounds.
He could not finish off Concepcion despite several times
he had him wobbly in the first half of the fight.

This was a difficult lesson for him. But its his first loss,
he's just 19. And there's no where to go but back to the
drawing boards , find out what went wrong, and work
himself back into a title fight.

this post should put up the pinoy post count a bit

@domain, actually in the P.I. there is no such thing as unbeaten fighter...

they will have their licks and those that can come back STRONG after a loss, those guys are the ones to watch for...

ps. imho its more fault of the trainer...

I'd blame it on the ALA Gym trainers like I always do.

I've said it before, they can only take these boys so far. On a certain level, they fail to improve.

I dunno, but I think ALA Gym wants to produce its own legitimate world champ, but that's all fantasy till they find a truly world-class trainer.

Their current trainers are just not qualified. More talented fighters will soon be wasted.

i still think AJ can come back strong... imho he only needs a better trainer,

lets face in bro Thrilla, we dont have world class trainers in the P.I.

Most fighters lose. He's only 19, it's not the end of the world, just a setback.

It's not how many times you fall, it's how many times you get up.

But this could be pyschologically very damaging for him.
