Diaz was a good up and coming fighter, he beat Mickey Ward and Ivan Robinson and was on the fast track to the big fights at 140. Then HBO offered him a fight against P4P # 1 Shane Mosley at welterweight. That fight pretty much ruined him, the Margarito fight was just the icing on the cake.

I was a big fan of Antonio Diaz. The guy deserved to get his **** at Tszyu instead of Mosley. Though Diaz was doing good till Mosley power was just too much. I wish him luck. Im sure it had to be a bit tough seeing his brother be champion while he came so close to doing the same thing.
