I thought the 3 knockdown rule was in effect. Either way Jr. didn't press Joval to see how hurt he was.

In Joval/McGirt fight, whats his problem not only is there not a 3 knockdown rule but Joval isnt really hurt, how can you predict and say one more and thats it. I dont like that.

I agree that the ref shouldn't have warned Joval if the three knockdown was not in effect. However, Joval looked like he was hurt and ready to go and if he got into trouble again, a stoppage may have been the right call....
