Two more Filipino boxers have been beaten, one in Thailand and the other in Australia but the dismal record was eased somewhat by the stunning first round knockout victory by super featherweight Ranee Ganoy over Australia’s Jungtar Min at Homebush Bay in New South Wales.
Ganoy put the hitherto undefeated Min away for the full count at :23 seconds of the opening round to break his string of three successive unanimous decision losses while Min who was coming off a second round knockout victory over Binnu Singh last August 27 suffered his first defeat.
