I should add a great many number of those picking Cotto have him winning by knockout in the mid to late rounds.

              Here are some examples:

“Cotto, I believe, is just about the best fighter in the world right now, and while Margarito punches hard enough to always be a threat, I think Cotto will find him quite easy to hit. Cotto by sixth-round stoppage.”
              - Ron Lewis, The Times (UK)

“Glad to see Margarito, ducked and ignored so long, get this opportunity. But I think Cotto will show his greatness and blast his way through adversity to stop him around the 9th or 10th round with precise, deadly punches that come even faster now.”
              - Ivan Goldman, The Ring

Here is what Erik Morales had to say:

“I see the fight going for Margarito in the first few rounds and if he lands a good punch his chance of winning will be good early on, but Cotto is too fast for him and if he is able to “weather the early Tornado” he should be able to win the fight by decision.”
              - Erik Morales, Three-Division World Champion

The question asked is who do you think will win the fight not who would you like to win the fight...

If Margarito fought Prime Mike Tyson, Steve Kim would still go for Margarito.
