Ward's promoter, Dan Goossen, tells Dan Rafael that he's trying to put the fight together with Vera's promoter Jeff Wald. no offense but i didn't like ward after i saw his first fight on shobox he was basically whipping the guys underarm with his head and he didn't capture me like the other former olympians who became champs did in there first couple of fights

I like this match up because if Vera wins he becomes the "prospect destroyer" and that's an awesome nickname.

That and if Ward wins, he can face Codrington. That's a big step up, but too much of one?

I like this fight for him though, Vera will be coming for war and isnt gonna lie down for Andre. Right now thats exactly what he needs, someone who is gonna come to take his face off.
