Every fight is a risk. Marquez was a risk but some risks are necessary. This is an unnecessary risk.

I don't think he should him at all, it's a ****** fight IMO. I'd rather he fought Campbell-Guzman winner instead of this meaningless fight. But if Pacquiao is going to fight a guy who is wayyy too big for him, he might as well get paid for it. It's like Gary Lockett fighting Pavlik, he knew he had no chance but he agreed to come here to get creamed for the big bucks.

As I said in an article about what Pacquiao can do with the P4P crown, this is exactly what I didn't think he should do. Mayweather set the precedent however.

And hopefully this is the beginning of the end of negotiations. 50/50 Pac? Come on.

Hopefully Oscar fights tomorrow night's winner, anything else will be a disappointment.

I'd be surprised if he entertained fighting Cotto or Margarito in his last fight.

Something you don't understand because you're a pac fan is that Pacquiao is the one calling out Delahoya and Delahoya has already said, NO.

So Pac thinks he can hang, then hang with the 10 mil and prove yourself that you're capable of beating Delahoya then you'll get paid in the rematch. Till then, pacs just another boxer looking for that big payday against Delahoya. And Pacs supposed to be a star, lol, he sounds like a contender begging for his first payday. Pacs begging is a shame, he looks like a desperate fighter.

He hasn't called out anybody since the 2nd Morales fight. I'm not sure if his hunger is back but it's a nice change from all the other fighters calling him out.

What rematch? De la Hoya already said this is his last fight. BTW, I'm a BoxingScene fan, baby.

You're trying to compare the American featherweight market to the welterweight market, and there just is no comparison there. Featherweights and lightweights have traditionally not generated the same revenue as larger fighters.

I've said that I don't think this is the fight Pacquiao should fight, he should instead go for the loaded lightweight division where he doesn't have as great a size disadvantage.

You're trying to spin this so that it seems like I want this fight, when I don't. I'm saying that if you're going to take a fight that in all wisdom you shouldn't, he should atleast be compensated for that.

But I like this talk because DLH is notorious for not budging on money issues. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for this foolishness.

Pacquiao is already a PPV hit, his last fight with a virtual unknown grossed 12 million in PPV revenue alone. He can fight anyone and it makes money. If Pacquiao is going to fight DLH, it's only going to be for money. If DLH can't budge on money, which is the only principle supporting this fight, Pacquiao shouldn't even take the fight then.

Hatton is a much easier fight and would make him a lot of money as well. At this point, DLH has no options as to who he can fight. He won't fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito because, well, he could get hurt. Not gonna do Paul Williams either. Sergio Mora is tied up with two fights and a rematch clause and Mayweather is retired.

At this moment, DLH needs Pacquiao more than Pacquiao needs him.

If DLH doesn't fight Pacquiao, who does he fight then? Thats not rhetorical Ferocity, I'm asking you a question.

Lol, now you're blaming Diaz for the ****ty ppv, lol.

Delahoya can fight anyone and do better numbers then Pac v. Diaz and you know this. And thats because Delahoya is a superstar. Pac is just a made up superstar that can't sell ppv without a Mexican star.

Pacquiao aint the big star outside of the phillipnines that you seem to think he is.

Pac is just like anyohter fighter he just looking for that payday.
