Does that mean 70 percent (if not more) of the boxing community who is piciking Miguel Cotto to win aren't real boxing fans.

NO the odds are better for Margarito that is why more people are taking him. The casual person see's at as if I put 100 I will win 210. You would have to bet 260 on Cotto to win $100. No wonder the money is on Tony.

Anyway I predicted this line shift and Damian5000 knows can attest to this. I figured that Margarito fans would cash there checks and putt money on Margarito.

But I believe the more season bettor with disposable income who actually follows line movement have already put there money on Cotto.

Late money made Muhammad Ali a favorite over Larry Holmes. Anyone with a brain knew that fight wouldn't even be close. That was a gamblers dream fight.

its to be expected. at first everyone who doesnt follow boxing closely they look at the win/loss record and see that Cotto has 0 losses and Margarito has 5 losses so they assume oh well Cotto is clearly gonna win so the early betting goes to the favorite. but as the fight gets closer and closer the interest in the fight ****es up even more and people that are going to watch it start examining the fight closely and see what type of fighter both fighters are and how they got to that point the day of the fight. they start seeing that the fight is really close because of the caliber of both the fighters so they see that its not really an upset if the underdog wins in this case margarito and they see its smart money to be on him. Margarito is gonna make a lot of his fans happy 2morrow haha in the pocket book area!

Absolutely. And the under on the fight was pretty good, I put money on cotto to win and money on the under. I believe if Cotto gets knocked out its going to be before the ninth. Marg isn't going to wear Cotto down, but he might catch him with a combination that ends with a body shot and finish him.

I was really really tempted by the under on this fight........but Vaz-Marq III and Cotto-Urkal got me a little gun shy about betting the over under. But I can see that being an attractive line for many.
