Morrison doesn't have great defense either, Lewis and Wlad have similar jabs, Lewis totally controlled Morrison with his jab, I see pretty much the same thing happening with Wlad unless Wlad gets caught by Morrison's left hook.

Of course you have. Remember Rocky 5? Tommy Gunn?

      That's Tommy "The Duke" Morrison

There is a big difference between Lewis and Wlad, Lewis is a more complete fighter who had a good chin and didnt back up like Wlad would. Wlad wouldnt stand a chance, Tommy has hard punches and would pressure Wlad and he backs up to much.so you really cant compare Lewis and Wlad because they are totally different fighters

The point is, Morrison couldn't find a way past Lewis' jab so if Wlad comes out like he always does nowadays and starts pumping his jab and keep his right hand up by his head, he'd be able to dictate the pace and distance.

Lewis and Wlad have similar stiff, strong, fast jabs.

Overall, Lewis was a much better fighter but their jabs were similar and with Manny Steward in his corner, he'd know the right strategy to beat Morrison.

he is right though Wlad is inclined to back up more the difference i see between Lewis and Wlad is Lewis would hold the centre of the ring and conrol the centre of the ring with his jab which IMO gave him a bigger advantage of keeping his oponents on the outside and back on their heels ,Wlad IMO is more inclned to conceed space because he is scared of getting hit and he does not dominate the centre of the ring like Lewis did also Lewis had a great uppercut when people would try to walk in

im not saying Morrison would win but i think it would differ slightly from the Lewis fight

He does go back but when he goes back, his back rarely touches the ropes, he circles back to the center of the ring and claims ring center again.

but he is open to looping shots over the top when backed up based on the fact he is 6ft 5 he also gets very disorganised when he is backed up he tries to stiff arm his oponents to keep them away from him

That's thy only time when Morrison can catch Wlad IMO, when Wlad is moving backwards to circle back to center right, he leans back which leaves him a bit open for that left hook but Morrison would need to react quickly because he's much smaller than Wlad which means he has to pursue Wlad and punch upwards which means he would lose some snap and speed on his punches. I don't think he can do it.

What im getting at is if morrison pressured Wlad and with his strong punches i think Wlad would buckle under pressure and get knocked out as seen in some of his previous fights. Wlad has the tools to be a very good fighter but his scared to get hit has no heart and cant handle pressure fighters. He only wins when he gets comfortable and is controlling the bout. But the pressure gets to him. Theres nothing special about Vlad because he doesnt know how to take advantage of his physical advantage like lewis did. I respect lewis Wlad i lost respect after i realised how **** he really is.
