According to a report in the Manila Bulletin, Golden Boy Promotions has made an initial offer of $10 million dollars to Manny Pacquiao, trying to secure him for Oscar De La Hoya on December. The paper notes the monetary figure was reported by Mexican media sources. The pay-per-view percentage, along with the guaranteed purse, is said to Pacquiao around $15 million. This is an utter insult.

I always knew DLH to be the type of man who is greedy.

But I never knew he is this GREEDY.

He will probably net 30m minimum for this fight.

Pacquiao also has his huge fanbase.

It's not like DLH will be the one selling the fight.

Pacquiao can and will also do his share.

And Pacquiao is only justified in asking for a fair cut.

I really DO NOT want to see de la hoya/pacquiao! Can't oscar find some-one around his own weight? Instead of looking for blown-up flyweights to fight. How about a rematch with shane mosley? Thats hardly even been mentioned (although i realise it may be difficult as they as shane works for golden boy). This pacquiao fight is bull****! A giant fighting a midget!

Manny Pacquiao looks good at lightweight. Oscar Dela Hoya is not even a champion nor undefeated.

I dont like this fight either BUT if the two fighters wants it then what can we do? its an interesting fight anyway.
